Objective:
To provide teachers and/or students the skills needed to create a fully functional 3D game and to look at how Missionmaker can be used across the curriculum.
Learning Outcomes:
At the end of this course, delegates will be able to:
- Create and customise 3D characters
- Use the extensive object library to build a fully functional game
- Import music, videos and graphics
- Establish gaming parameters and rules
- Plan Missionmaker lessons (teaching staff only)
- Develop cross-curricular applications and projects (teaching staff only)
Overview:
This workshop covers the skills needed to create visually rich 3D worlds using Missionmaker. Through strategic thinking and planning, delegates can create unique games with their own rules and goals. Teaching staff will discover how Missionmaker can be used across the curriculum to help build on important skill sets.
We can offer Missionmaker training through:
- INSET days
- Staff meetings
- Consultation with individual curriculum leaders
- Team teaching alongside teachers
- Developing expert groups of students
- Developing a team of experts from the teaching staff – teachers and teaching assistants
Face to face training:
This course will be delivered on-site at your establishment, by one of our accredited Missionmaker trainers. You will have the opportunity to speak to the trainer prior to the day to discuss any specific requirements you may have. Wherever possible, we will always try to accommodate your needs and tailor the session accordingly.
