All of our training is customised to meet the needs of individual schools. Pre-course consultation establishes objectives and success criteria as well as agreeing logistical arrangements. Through the consultation we will discuss options in the following:

1. School priorities

We can offer training to match curriculum and school development priorities

MissionMaker offers a unique learning medium: it can form the basis for substantial projects in ICT and has been used successfully in English and DT. It provides a perfect environment to develop skills in strategic thinking, planning and communication. Training can focus on the outcomes you select.

2. Levels of familiarity with the software

Training that takes different starting points to develop a range of levels of expertise

With the range of possibilities available within MissionMaker, training starts by giving teachers and students the skills needed to use software effectively. We would look at how the virtual environments can be personalised by importing media and how to develop projects that allow students to develop extensive game worlds. We can differentiate training to cater for different levels within the same session and work with you to map out training packages that develop skills over a course of sessions.

3. Formats for delivery

We can work within budgets and the time available for training.

We can offer training through:

Costs: MissionMaker training costs £320 for a half day/twilight and £595 for a full day.
