Social Media Workshops

FantastICT is working with Radiowaves to offer two workshops that help schools use social and digital media to support learning across the curriculum. The hands-on workshops are designed for teachers and pupils to develop skills that add an extra dimension in all subject areas.
These two new workshops cover the following:Podcasting - A hands-on day for teachers and pupils to learn how to plan, record, edit and safely publish a podcast online. Pupils become skilled podcast creators and teachers gain skills and confidence to create exciting podcasting activities.
Social Media - A chance to explore social and digital media for learning across the school. Teachers explore new ways to create engaging online activities safely and your pupils become skilled and responsible social media creators.
Radiowaves provide a school podcasting network for schools, local authorities and charities to publish internet radio, school podcasts, videos and blogs from pupils around the world.
