ActivInspire 1.3 now available for download

The latest version of ActivInspire is now available to download with new features and improved functionality (and now in 22 languages!)

ActivInspire 1.3 includes a number of significant upgrades to make teaching with ActivInspire smoother, quicker, and more integrated with ActivExpression and the new visual presenter, ActiView.

Available in either Professional Edition for existing users, or as a free download (ActivInspire Personal Edition) for new users, ActivInspire works across whiteboard platforms and can be used on any interactive whiteboard system to provide resources and materials to create interactive lessons.

By choosing ActivInspire Professional Edition, teachers can upgrade to take advantage of even more lesson creation tools, greater functionality and the choice of 22 language variants.

New! Integrate With ActiView

Available for Windows and Mac, ActivInspire 1.3 now offers seamless integration with Promethean’s visual presenter, ActiView, so you can capture live images, import them directly into the flipchart and even create your own personalized resource packs.

New! Windows 7 & Snow Leopard Support

ActivInspire is now compatible with the latest Windows and Mac operating systems. Don’t forget that there is also still a Linux version available to download, too!

New! Global Language Variations

Even more teachers can now experience teaching with ActivInspire with global language versions in 22 languages, including French, Arabic, Swedish, Chinese and many more.

New! Over 30 New Enhancements

Promethean listened to your feedback and have enhanced the annotation function speed for Handwriting Recognition, Highlighter and Magic Ink tools, as well as a whole host of other functionality improvements.

How Do I Upgrade to ActivInspire 1.3?

New Users

If you are new to the ActivInspire software then please visit the ActivInspire section www.prometheanplanet.com/activinspire . From here you can browse the new features, understand the differences between ActivInspire Professional & Personal Edition, then download your own version of ActivInspire.

Existing Users

If you are already using ActivInspire software then you will need to upgrade direct from your existing ActivInspire ‘dashboard’ by selecting the ‘Check for updates’ option.
