Next BRIT thing is a national music competition for all 11-19 year olds in UK running between September 2011 and March 2012, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Creative summer projects for those aged 11-25

This summer the Roundhouse in London if offering a range of creative projects for those aged 11 – 25. These projects cover music, creative media and the performing arts, including the chance to work as part of the Roundhouse TV crew and even write, perform and record an album!

If you have never seen this, now is the time to have a look!  Brilliant!  Loads of support for teachers, with lesson plans, activities and things to do.  There is so much here so you do need to take some time to have a good look around – well worth it!  You will be drawn in…………

Brilliant website!  Isle of Tune is a musical sequencer with a twist!  Build little roads with houses, trees, lights etc. that cars drive past, making music as they go.  Use for repeating patterns or just for fun!  Apps for the iPhone, iPod and iPad are in development.
